Mindfulness

We are exposed to a lot of stress on a daily basis, and for many this can become a source of health problems and reduced quality of life. What actually causes stress? Stress is a natural process that we all experience, and something that protects us from danger. From very early times, stress has been a protective factor for people.

In today's modern society, this can become overwhelming, and that is why it is important to constantly practice stress management. We also have many expectations attached to us through social media and the different social roles we have to fill, be it from career to parenting to appearance and body.

My course in Mindfulness has been developed for those who need relaxation and coping with stress-related ailments. I have developed a program that focuses on attention training, self-compassion and meditation, which helps you center yourself and find inner peace. The course consists of a theoretical introduction to mindfulness and simple and practical exercises. Suitable for both beginners and advanced users.

Mindful Yoga and Yin Yoga

Mindful yoga has its origins in Hatha Yoga and is a basic yoga practice that suits the vast majority of people. Mindful yoga, like Mindfulness, is based on attention training and relaxation. This means that we learn to be aware while we are in motion. This helps to give you a stronger body with the help of calm exercises and to strengthen you mentally as it contributes to stress reduction. The exercises will have a natural flow similar to Vinyasa Yoga.

Yin yoga is a slow form of yoga that includes principles from traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods than in other forms of yoga. You allow the body to adapt to the exercises, which are often lying down and sitting. You have respect for the body and let it find its "edge", which is to say its limit.

In both Mindful yoga and Yin yoga, one must be aware of setting one's own limits for what one can and cannot master. It is only for oneself that one sets goals and achieves greater self-confidence and a better sense of self. My goal is to help you understand what your path is in yoga, and this type of yoga can be adapted to what feels right and authentic to you. This type of yoga will therefore be familiar to many people. The course consists of a theoretical introduction to Mindful yoga and practical exercises. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.
